One of the first glimpses viewers got into Cartman’s psyche was when we first met Cartman’s stuffed animals. They first appear in season one’s “Cartman’s Mom Is A Dirty Slut” where Cartman is secretly videotaped by Stan, Kyle and Kenny. The video eventually winds up on America’s Stupidest Home Videos and wins second prize, losing to Kenny getting hit by a train.
A similar scene is revisited in “1%” where Cartman interrogates his mom as a suspect after some of his stuffed animals are assassinated.
Clyde Frog[edit]
Clyde Frog is based on a character of the same name from a children's show from the 1970s called "The Clyde Frog Show". Clyde Frog, may he rest in peace, was Eric’s favorite stuffed animal and his name appears in the script more than any of Cartman’s other stuffed animals.

Clyde Frog previously had his head ripped off by Kyle in “Tonsil Trouble” but seemed to make a full recovery and appeared in “Dances With Smurfs". He was then brutally murdered again in “1%”.
Muscle Man Marc[edit]
Muscle Man Marc is loosely based on the fashion designer Marc Jacobs, who has Clyde Frog and Rumpertumskin tattooed on his forearms. When Trey and Matt heard about his tattoos, they thought it was cool so they created Muscle Man Marc as an homage to the tattoos.
If you look closely you can see that Muscle Man Marc also has Rumpertumskin and Clyde Frog on his arms. After seeing the show, (the real) Marc Jacobs tattooed Muscle Man Marc on his arm, complete with the accompanying Clyde Frog and Rumpertumskin to scale.
