About
Far from a typical fourth grade girl at South Park Elementary, Nelly happens to be the girls' official "List Keeper" in difficult times, but is probably best known for her outspoken and somewhat tough nature - which is probably why she has the job. When Butters Stotch was recruited to kick her in the "balls" to obtain the Cutest Boys list, she didn't flinch - but she did break his arm. She wasn't afraid to call out the boys, including Eric Cartman for their ignorance of Skankhunt42's actions on the school message board, either, and when Butters began his "Weiners Out" movement, Nelly lead the girls' counter-movement right back.
Nelly's has also been seen at the Denver Aquarium, and happened to be one of the millions of viewers of Butters' hit "What What in the Butt" video.
Alter Ego
When times are tough, and the Pleases and Sparkles Club is drawn into combat against others, you can bet Nelly won't hesitate to help lead the charge.
Family
Like many background girls, Nelly has been depicted with different background adults in different episodes, but these two adults were seen with her in "Going Native", and some believe them to be her parents.

Ex-Boyfriend
Nelly was dating Francis for some period, but like the other couples in the school, broke up with him to prove a point about Skankhunt42's online activities.
Close Friends
Nelly is friends with most of the well-known girls in South Park, although the exact details of her relationships are fairly scarce.

Rival
Ever since her first major appearance, Nelly has often been contrasted with the naive Butters Stotch, often at his own worst moments.
Their first altercation resulted in him getting a broken arm, and not long later, she saw him dancing in his 'What What in the Butt?' video. She wasn't afraid to call out the boys or Eric Cartman during the Skankhunt42 conflict, but when Butters began leading the "Weiners Out" movement, Nelly challenged him to a rematch that was narrowly averted. Not long later though, the two shared a long gaze while preparing danishes for charity...
In South Park: Phone Destroyer, Butters can even be seen in the background of her card as a possible victim of her rage.

Video Games
South Park: The Stick of Truth
One of the members of the Girls' Pleases and Sparkles Club, if the player can complete the "Recruit the Girls" Quest line, Nelly is among those who can be found at the Girls' Hideout and can be added as a friend. She helps keep the hideout nice and clean with a broom, and thinks the New Kid looks like a "serial killer".
South Park: Phone Destroyer
Nelly is one of the rarer cards in the game thus far, with a powerful spinning attack that can create area damage. She's considered a 'neutral' character who can be used in any deck.
Myths & Legends
- Nelly has no canonical last name on the show, but the most common fanon suggestion is Nelly Figg.
