Frozen for thousands of years, the Knights of Standards and Practices awaken whenever a curse word is over-used so significantly that they are needed to prevent the plagues from coming upon the Earth. When "shit" becomes commonplace, one knight escapes to prevent it's over-use, and as Drew Carey's TV show is recording, murders him on national television, causing people to turn off their screens. When 'shit' is again relegated to a curse word, the Knight is frozen again until needed.
