| Sick of their old lives in Boise, Idaho, David and his family moved to South Park, Colorado upon the opening of a new [[Whole Foods]] store - these Mexicans were actually staying, and soon opened a restaraunt, [[Nueva Familia]], where David was a busboy. He joined [[South Park Elementary]] as a new kid soon as well, and forged a rivalry with Yelp critic [[Eric Cartman]], who didn't approve of his family's restaurant. He was later accidentally shot during a game of ninja by a very distracted [[Officer Barbrady]], ending his tenure as a police officer.
