When Richard used their son and his friends to influence the town about large corporations, Mrs. Tweak voiced concern from early on about the morality of his effort. As the situation escalated, she disengaged due to what she perceived as the immorality of the situation, and sided with the children when they realized that corporations were good, advocating Harbucks’ right to stay in town.
