==Pop Culture References==

* The Robot Friend song is accompanied by music that sounds a lot like the theme from the old TV show "The Courtship of Eddie’s Father".

* Butters sings [http://southpark.cc.com/clips/ug2h21/just-slide-it-up-in-my-anus#source=473fef35-48a7-434c-afc6-207874c7f1a3%3A6007162e-ecfd-11e0-aca6-0026b9414f30&position=7&sort=playlist "If You Leave Me Now"] by Chicago. He also croons this tune in "Casa Bonita".

* The AWESOM-O name is a play on ASIMO, the groundbreaking humanoid robot developed by Honda. 

* During the montage, we also see them coming out of a theater showing the film The Prince and Me, a corny 2004 romantic comedy starring Julia Stiles.

* The circular Pentagon meeting room bears a striking resemblance to that seen in the classic 1964 film Dr. Strangelove.  

* Finally, when Cartman (still disguised as AWESOM-O) seems to activate himself, it's a parody of a similar scene in the 1995 anime classic Ghost in the Shell.

* <em>Easter Egg</em>: Behind Butters, there's movie posters for two Will Smith movies: "Guys In Dark Suits and Black Sunglasses" & "Badassboys".

*Catamount Pictures is a parody of Paramount Pictures, right down to the iconic water tower.
