During his brief resignation, the town fell into chaos without his previously underestimated leadership. After the boys moved on up to the fourth grade, the department expanded with several new members, such as [[Officer Foley]], and Officer Barbrady became South Park's Chief-of-Police. A new Park County Police Department branch building division was built by City Hall, initially as a detective agency working on case investigation, lead by [[Lieutenant Dawson]] and soon by Detective Sgt. [[Harrison "Harris" Yates]], before becoming more and more involved in field work alongside Officer Barbrady. The new department, however, has been shown to be highly corrupt and extremely racist, framing rich black men and frequently using excessive force and brutality. Their incompetence is notorious, but the people of South Park continue to turn to them whenever they need somebody to do the 'dirty work' for them. You can be sure that wherever a rich black men needs to be framed, a Mexican accidentally shot, a poor black man choked, or just a damn good media campaign, the Park County Police will be there.
